For the traffic-awareness dog owner who wants the safest dog cage/crate for vehicle transport, the VarioCage by MIMsafe. Crash tested at SP, Technical Research Institute of Sweden in Borås with the test method SPCT, Safe Pet Crate Test. In an accident VarioCage is compressed in a controlled way along the vehicles crumple zone, protecting both pet and passengers from an increased risk of injury. The cage/crate is equipped with an evacuation hatch if the doors are blocked in an accident.

Wear exposed parts such as doors and floor are treated against corrosion. The door is equipped with safety locks and gas hydraulic motion springs for better control of the door. The door handles can also be used as storage pockets. VarioCage is designed and produced in Sweden by MIM Construction AB.

The obvious and safest choice for the hatchback vehicle models

A hatchback car or vehicles with a higher threshold in the luggage compartment, needs a transport cage with an elevated door. VarioCage compact offers you that. With a 23 cm elevated door it will fit in most hatchback vehicles. VarioCage compact is partly manufactured in aluminium, but other than that it follows the VarioCage system with the safety and the adjustability in depth so you are able to effectively adapt it to your car.
