What's New in Generation 4

MIMsafe set out to build a crate for today's — and tomorrow's — cars. The result brings a series of meaningful upgrades:

• A new, more durable and more environmentally friendly powder coating, with significantly better resistance to moisture, wear, and scratches.
• A refined new colour, Onyx Dark Gray, with a textured finish that lifts both the look and the sense of quality, complemented by the striking new "yellow line" cover plate.
• Improved fit and easier assembly, supported by new animated assembly instructions.
• Custom dimensions across multiple models to fit a wider range of vehicles — including future electrified car models.
• A quieter, rattle-free experience thanks to a further-developed, more stable construction.

Alongside the upgrades, MIMsafe has streamlined the range into fewer, smarter variants that fit more cars — making it easier than ever to find the right crate for your vehicle.

Three Ranges to Suit Every Dog and Every Car

The Generation 4 line-up is organised into three families:

VarioCage Single takes up only part of the boot, leaving room for bags, a pram, or other everyday cargo. It's perfect for a single dog, or for anyone who wants to combine safe dog transport with everyday loads. With adjustable length, it adapts easily to both your car and your dog. Sizes run XS through XXL (item codes 50490, 50466, 50476, 50463, 50480, 50478).

VarioCage Double is built for dog families — or for anyone with one really big dog. Two secure compartments, adjustable length, and the same crash-tested protection. Sizes run XS through XXL (item codes 50477, 50483, 50461, 50464, 50465, 50482).

VarioCage Compact is designed specifically for hatchbacks and cars with a high boot threshold, so smaller vehicles don't have to miss out on proper safety. Available in M and L (item codes 50467, 50468).

Every model lists both external and internal dimensions, with adjustable length ranges, so you can match the crate precisely to your boot space and your dog's size.
